Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop cost control data structures to accurately track and control actual costs.
  • •Establish and set the project control budget aligned with agreed baselines.
  • •Track actual costs for internal and external expenditure against cost control structures.
  • •Monitor accruals and commitments against budget constraints.
  • •Build project forecasts including ETC and EAC and ensure timely reporting of cost information.

Key Requirements

  • •Delivered cost engineering across a range of major projects and across the full project lifecycle (pre-investment through commissioning).
  • •Defined project cost procedures and standards to which the project/programme will adhere.
  • •Proficient with cost management systems such as Ecosys and interfaces with SAP and Oracle.
  • •Experience applying Earned Value Management rules within planning and reporting.
  • •Strong track record tracking actual costs, accruals, and commitments and aligning them with budget constraints.
