Job Summary

Ensure Environmental Health & Safety Management System (EHSMS) compliance by managing documentation, improving the EHSMS compliance score, and supporting the delivery of EMEA health and safety strategy. Partner with business leaders to drive EHS improvements, conduct and update emergency preparedness activities, and review risk assessments and contractor documentation. Investigate major incidents, coordinate training and safety meetings, liaise with regulators, and report weekly EHS summaries.

Job Function: Legal, Risk & Compliance

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the EHSMS, including reviewing, updating, and implementing health and safety documentation and continually improving the EHSMS compliance score.
•Support development and delivery of the health and safety strategy across the EMEA region, driving improvements against goals and objectives.
•Conduct and coordinate emergency evacuation activities, including drills and updating emergency information and signage.
•Pre-qualify and approve contractors, and review contractors’ risk assessments and method statements for work on NBCUniversal premises.
•Lead major incident reporting and accident investigations (logging, determining root cause, and corrective actions), and provide weekly EHS summary reports to the International EHS Director.

Key Requirements

•NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent).
•Chartered Member of IOSH or working towards Chartered Member of IOSH.
•Ability to manage EHSMS documentation by reviewing, updating, and implementing health and safety materials.
•Experience conducting risk assessments (including events and incidental tasks) and supporting contractor risk reviews.
•Ability to support emergency preparedness activities, safety training coordination, and incident investigation.
