Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect, cut, and sort specified quantities of product; place product on meat conveyors or into formed pockets of film on packaging machines.
  • •Set up, tear down, and operate multivac packaging machines, labelers, slicing/dicing equipment, and support equipment, including changing film rolls and using a film lift.
  • •Use a handheld computer and operate SAP to issue, correct, and backstage production/packaging tasks.
  • •Perform HACCP checks and documentation, observe sanitation procedures, and comply with safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements.
  • •Package and process sliced/diced products; trim tar, check leaker packages, perform department job rotation, and complete general housekeeping duties.
