Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide electronic technician support to FAALC Product Divisions to maintain system/subsystem/component serviceability, reliability, and availability.
  • •Troubleshoot electronic systems/subsystems/components and perform repairs, assembly, refurbishment, installation, calibration, and testing.
  • •Design test fixtures and prototypes as needed and analyze equipment performance using collected data.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum high school diploma/GED with completion of formal technical training courses, or an Associate Degree in Electrical or Engineering Technology.
  • •Two years of practical experience in an electronic technician support position performing troubleshooting, repairing, assembling, testing, and installing electrical/electronic systems and equipment.
  • •Familiarity with basic electronics test equipment including multi-meter, oscilloscope, signal generator, AC/DC power supply, and power meter.
  • •Proficiency in through-hole soldering/de-soldering and ability to interpret basic analog/digital circuit schematics and symbols.
  • •Able to perform basic electronics troubleshooting (e.g., measure volts/current/resistance; identify opens/shorts/grounds) and meet identification eligibility requirements.
