Job Summary

Design, develop, test, and implement specialized measurement and automation tools for 3D printer testing. Manage tool development delivery with external vendors, ensure quality and shipment readiness, and collaborate across engineering, operations, and QA. Integrate sensors, actuators, and industrial communication protocols, troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis on-site, and support NPI builds with documentation, DFX recommendations, and occasional vendor/onsite travel.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, test, and implement specialized measurement and automation tools for 3D printer testing.
•Manage tool development and delivery with assigned vendors according to program requirements.
•Ensure tool deliverables meet quality and shipment requirements.
•Collaborate with engineering, operations, and QA teams, including managing/training MPA tooling counterparts.
•Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis and provide ongoing on-site support; evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to improve design.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.
•4–6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with production tools and automation.
•Experience developing measurement and automation tools.
•Strong CAD drawing skills and mechanical knowledge.
•Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capability for tools on site.
