Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and control rolling mills, furnaces, or casting machines from the pulpit using HMI/SCADA systems.
  • •Monitor alarms and emergency signals, take corrective actions, and initiate emergency shutdowns when required.
  • •Adjust speed, temperature, pressure, and other parameters to maintain productivity and product quality.
  • •Maintain accurate records of process parameters, production output, downtime, and incidents; provide detailed shift reports.
  • •Monitor power consumption, diagnose minor equipment issues, coordinate with maintenance, and support process improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 1 year working or relevant experience; GCC experience is a plus.
  • •Understanding of rolling, melting, casting, or finishing operations in a steel plant.
  • •Experience controlling industrial processes using HMI/SCADA systems.
  • •Knowledge of industrial safety protocols, emergency shutdown procedures, and hazard mitigation.
  • •ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills is a requirement.
