Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide analytical financial support and analysis for the Plant Productivity stream, including loss reporting, variance investigation, and support for inventory management and capital reporting.
  • •Support completion of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for Cramlington across MOE, losses, and S,G&A, and deliver quarterly forecasts.
  • •Complete month-end reporting processes including losses and inventory adjustments, savings tracking, manpower reporting, and bonus accruals.
  • •Maintain strict financial controls and ensure SOX compliance as Process Owner for Inventory Controls, monitoring and reporting cycle count accuracy.
  • •Support the Plant Controller with process improvements in operations finance, collaborating with SSC/Accenture and supporting key BI and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • •Educated to degree level with a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA or ICAEW).
