Job Summary

Develop and advance polymer compound products and applications for automotive, electronic appliance, consumer, and industrial markets. Lead collaboration on global technology development and commercialization, manage product formulation and quality specification control plans, and support scale-up at manufacturing sites. Own application development project deliverables, help resolve customer complaints, and assess intellectual property impacts while ensuring compliance with quality management systems and IATF requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Support business unit growth by developing new or modified products, applications, or processes to meet market/customer objectives and improve performance or cost.
•Lead collaboration for development/importation of global technologies (formulations, performance, processing) to drive commercialization and domestic sales.
•Drive next-generation material innovation through proof-of-concept scouting and push for market implementation.
•Design and manage application development projects, deliver technical outputs, and independently support problem-solving for customer complaints.
•Prepare technical presentations, create/manage product datasheets and literature, and advise on formulation, quality specifications, scale-up activities, and procurement sourcing for raw materials.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•BE/B. Tech degree in polymer and material science, chemical engineering, or plastic engineering (advanced degree a plus).
•Minimum 5 years in the plastics industry.
•Experience with PPC formulation is a plus; polymer processing and testing know-how is a plus.
•Exposure to IATF core 5 tools is essential.
•Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 requirements; strong technical, analytical, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
