Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the facility safely and efficiently, including start-up and shutdowns per established procedures.
  • •Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment across the plant.
  • •Ensure environmental compliance (air and water) and analyze/report operating irregularities, correcting when possible.
  • •Execute high-voltage switching and prepare permits for work as needed.
  • •Complete required training, safety logs, and work orders/PMs in the CMMS; coordinate daily operations and maintenance and support plant technicians.

Key Requirements

  • •3-5 years of power plant operations experience (or equivalent).
  • •Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.
  • •Strong communication skills, including 3-way communications and the phonetic alphabet.
  • •Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical one-lines, logic drawings, technical manuals, and P&IDs.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent; must pass the EEI (Edison Electric Institute) Combo POSS B exam.
