Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble, solder, and rework flight electronics including SMD components, flex circuits, and solar panels.
  • •Fabricate balloon envelopes through cutting, sealing, and final assembly.
  • •Run functional and end-of-line tests on payloads.
  • •Operate and maintain production equipment such as sealing machines, film-handling rigs, and test fixtures.
  • •Receive, inspect, kit, and stage components; refine work instructions and test plans and escalate quality/manufacturability issues to engineering; support launch and recovery as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, electronics assembly, quality inspection, or a similar technical environment.

  • •Ability to work independently across assembly, test, and inventory responsibilities.
  • •Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials up to 50 pounds, including availability for non-standard shifts and weekends as needed.
