Key Responsibilities

  • •Utilize routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, and written/verbal instructions to build, repair, and/or test equipment assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
  • •Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs for electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies.
  • •Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies/subassemblies and complete documentation.
  • •Receive parts and perform audits to ensure necessary parts are available, inspected, and defect-free before building/testing/repair.
  • •Maintain a secure, safe, clean, and healthy work environment and promptly report accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies.

Key Requirements

  • •Build, repair, and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies using work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and instructions.
  • •Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs, identifying and correcting errors.
  • •Troubleshoot and improve processes using established operating procedures and/or scientific methods.
  • •Observe all safety standards and follow health and safety training plus safety and security policies.
  • •Enter data on a computer terminal (e.g., progress and work/labor details).
