Job Summary

Support Samsung Austin Semiconductor’s trade compliance team by managing day-to-day import activities. You’ll respond to Customs information requests, research and classify new parts using HTSUS/HTS, perform daily file audits and reviews, and help with risk assessment reviews. The role also supports FTZ operations and C-TPAT compliance, including annual preparation and distribution of C-TPAT supply chain security letters to suppliers and service providers.

•Research and respond to Customs requests for information in a timely manner as required by regulation.
•Research and classify new parts for imports according to HTSUS.
•Assist with risk assessment reviews, including quarterly internal assessments for imports.
•Support the annual preparation and distribution of C-TPAT supply chain security letters to suppliers and service providers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 65,000 - 107,500 annually

Key Requirements

•5–12 years of experience in import operations and compliance with an importer and customs broker.
•Knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, especially 19 CFR 146, including import compliance requirements.
•Experience researching and classifying imported parts using HTSUS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the US).
•Working knowledge of PC tools and common compliance systems and resources (Outlook, Excel, CROSS, FDA, APHIS, US HTS).
•Familiarity with auditing principles to support daily file audits and risk assessments.
