Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide direct and indirect patient care in the ICU per nursing process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • •Coordinate and plan critical care pathways, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and document data in the medical record per standards.
  • •Ensure safe administration of narcotics/controlled and semi-controlled drugs and maintain unit competencies.
  • •Assist in maintaining JCIA accreditation requirements and participate in unit meetings and CQI activities.
  • •Support preceptor responsibilities when applicable and contribute to orientation and competency-based training.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in nursing (minimum of three (3) years full-time course duration) or Degree in Nursing (minimum two (2) years) with RN registration from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia
  • •Must hold a valid License/Registration to practice in home country or country of last employment
  • •Minimum of two (2) years of recent post-graduate ICU/PICU experience
  • •Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent
  • •Must hold a valid nursing license/registration and, for non-UAE graduates, complete required clinical training as specified
