Key Responsibilities

  • •Haul overburden or manganese from loading areas to allocated destinations (waste dump, in-pit stockpile, or in-pit crusher).
  • •Transport waste/ore material from pit benches and assist with constructing in-pit infrastructure according to standards.
  • •Drive haul roads and dumping/crusher tip areas with continuous judgment to prevent incidents and interactions with other vehicles.
  • •Maintain safe distance from dump edges and comply with fatigue rules to prevent fatigue-related incidents.
  • •Open sumps and trenches next to haul roads; remove and separate big rocks; close trenches for pipe columns.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 1 year’s experience operating mobile equipment in a mining environment.
  • •Mining production experience in surface mining operations.
  • •Grade 12 (external candidates) or Grade 10 (internal candidates).

  • •Valid drivers license; equipment license on related equipment (e.g., Excavator, CAT Loader 992/980, CAT dozer D8/D10, wheel dozer, or grader) is advantageous.
