Job Summary

Lead Emirates Group’s Enterprise API Modernization programme and operate the API Centre of Excellence (CoE). You’ll transform the integration landscape into a secure, scalable, reusable, AI-ready API ecosystem by driving API-First practices, modernising legacy integrations, and governing enterprise API standards. Own delivery of a strategic API platform, ensure security/compliance and incident/problem support, and manage team performance, budgets, vendors, and technology roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the Enterprise API Modernization programme and operate the API Centre of Excellence (CoE).
•Define KPIs, drive performance, and manage technical expertise, resourcing, and development plans for the team.
•Ensure security and compliance through audits, patching, and risk/exception management, and provide 3rd level incident/problem support with root cause analysis.
•Collaborate with IT teams to deliver products/services that support organisational growth and enable engineering excellence through APIs.
•Manage technology and team budgets, vendor/SLAs, and drive technology improvements including end-of-life replacement and evaluation of new platforms.
