Job Summary

Lead the Roanoke, VA Commercial Sales Office P&L and drive annual and long-term financial results across profit, volume, margins, business mix, and share. Provide leadership for sales and customer functions, including new customer acquisition, retention, forecasting, quota setting, and compliance with policies. Temporarily lead the Systems sales stream and support operations through matrix leadership, while advancing employee engagement, recruiting, retention, and diversity initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage annual and long-term financial results for the Sales Office, including profit, volume, margins, business mix, and share.
•Provide leadership for customer and district sales management, including new customer acquisition, customer satisfaction measurement, price management, marketing, account penetration, market penetration, and retention.
•Hire, onboard, and continuously develop sales associates, including assessing skills, administering training, setting quotas, and ensuring accurate sales forecasting.
•Assemble account teams and coordinate with account managers across varying business development needs, customer focus, experience, sales cycles, and product portfolios.
•Ensure sales office compliance with company policies and support human capital strategies including employee engagement, recruitment, retention, and diversity and inclusion.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or equivalent education/experience combination (four-year preferred).
•Minimum five (5) years of progressive sales managerial experience.
•Minimum ten (10) years of HVAC industry or related experience is a plus.
•Understanding of Energy Management Systems and/or HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls and/or Process Control Management is a plus.
•Must possess a valid driver's license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
