Key Responsibilities

•Architect, design, integrate, and commission control systems for the Starship launch pads.
•Design industrial electrical control panels that are NFPA 79/ NEC/ UL 508A compliant.
•Design control and data acquisition systems and electrical schematics.
•Configure and tune PID controllers and VFDs for open- and closed-loop control systems.
•Document control system built for handoff to pad operators.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
•1+ years of experience in the design and commissioning of control systems for industrial applications (internship experience qualifies).
•Experience in programming PLCs and developing control software that is organized, structured, and maintainable.
•Familiarity with NFPA 70/ NFPA 79 / NEC / UL 508A codes and industrial electrical standards.
•CAD experience (preferably EPLAN) and hands-on experience designing and installing electrical panels and control systems.
