CDL Delivery Driver responsible for safe transport and delivery of EquipmentShare Forge & Build materials from Baraboo facility. Operates forklifts and trucks, performs pre/post-trip inspections, maintains logs, ensures compliance with DOT regulations, loads/unloads materials, and collaborates with yard and sales teams to provide excellent customer service while upholding safety and efficiency.

Job Function: Transportation & Fleet Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Operate vehicles according to applicable state and federal transportation laws and follow safety regulations.
•Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain regulatory logs (e.g., electronic logging devices).
•Assemble and load customer loads according to loading lists for delivery to job sites on schedule; unload as required and return equipment to designated areas.
•Maintain invoices, bills of lading, and other paperwork; deliver documentation to shipping office upon route completion.
•Maintain yard and equipment, organize trailers, and assist in loading/delivery operations while ensuring safety and customer service.

Key Requirements

•Possession and maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a chauffeur's license, as required by state regulations for the vehicle weight to be operated.
•Must pass and maintain background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state Department(s) of Transportation regulations.
•Must pass and maintain a DOT physical, as trucks driven are over 10,000 lbs.
•Experience operating a forklift and straight truck.
•Basic knowledge of lumber and building products.
