Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with New Product Development teams to ensure engineering drawing requirements are integrity/clear and effectively communicated to suppliers.
  • •Participate in New Product Introduction efforts to involve suppliers in developing and reviewing specifications for design for manufacturability.
  • •Contribute to the supplier selection process to build a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery, and technology.
  • •Perform supplier technical audits; evaluate supplier performance and capability and drive continuous improvement opportunities.
  • •Handle quality problem resolutions and incident management by driving root cause and correction action; evaluate technical requirements and recommend materials to Design Engineering.
