Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage pre- and post-contract requirements for the Infrastructure Department portfolio in line with framework agreements and work orders.
  • •Support pre-contract engagement of contractors/consultants with the Contracting Entity’s procurement and legal teams.
  • •Administer work orders from award to completion, including review and acceptance of subcontractors and subcontract documents.
  • •Oversee contractor/consultant performance against contractually agreed KPIs, and contribute to management of disputes.
  • •Lead contractual negotiations, guide project/program directors as needed, and establish/approve contract management strategies (including KPI targets in incentive schedules within NEC contracts).

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years contract/cost management and administration experience, including at least 7 years NEC experience (10+ years for Intermediate level).
  • •Significant claims management experience and knowledge of contractor/consultant performance monitoring.
  • •Experience establishing contract performance management frameworks and building KPI libraries for contractors/consultants.
  • •Strong leadership capability with extensive analytical skills, negotiation skills, and strong report writing and presentation ability.
  • •Knowledge of contract administration in particular the NEC suite and understanding of CEMAR and Unifier.
