Key Responsibilities

  • •Mentor, develop, and manage a small team of junior and intermediate accountants to build a world-class accounting function.
  • •Manage general ledger accounting operations and the month-end close for the parent and international subsidiaries, ensuring accurate and timely deliverables.
  • •Own granular financial reporting activities including note disclosure checklists, the ASU matrix, and drafting financial statement notes and disclosures.
  • •Support annual consolidated external audits and lead statutory audits for international subsidiaries as the primary liaison with local auditors.
  • •Identify technical accounting issues, conduct research to develop and document accounting policies, and design end-to-end SOP and review procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •CPA designation is required, with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a public accounting and/or industry environment.
  • •Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS, including the ability to research complex accounting topics and write technical memos.
  • •Proven experience managing the month-end close process for a multi-entity, multi-currency global organization.
  • •Demonstrated leadership with experience managing and mentoring accountants, balancing review/oversight with individual contributor work.
  • •Experience with robust internal controls and the ability to implement automation using major ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
