Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair mechanical, electrical, braking/cooling, steering, engine, transmission, and related systems using testing and road tests.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and equipment on the company service truck, including periodic reconciliation.
  • •Maintain and operate the company-issued service vehicle, perform safety checks, and complete pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Mentor and teach other technicians, perform duties of Mobile Technician Manager in their absence, and assist with quality control inspections.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 7 years of related experience (or alternate related education/certification and experience combinations).
  • •Possess and supply required hand tools to perform job duties.
  • •Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months and ASE C1 (Service Consultant) within 18 months.
  • •Obtain 608/609 certification within 18 months.
  • •Valid DOT medical card and ability to pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical; must be at least 21 and hold a valid driver’s license.
