  • •Own the steel category: structural steel and fabricated assemblies feeding the modular manufacturing line and site builds.
  • •Source fabrication capacity across regional shops so throughput scales with the build plan.
  • •Negotiate raw material and fabrication pricing using mechanisms that survive commodity swings.
  • •Qualify fabricators on quality and capacity.
  • •Manage weekly load balancing across qualified fabricators.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 239,000 - 278,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Sourced structural steel or fabricated steel assemblies at industrial volume.
  • •Understands fabrication economics: material, labor, coatings, and freight, including how shops make margin.
  • •Qualified fabrication shops and identified capacity overstatements in their pitch.
  • •Manages commodity exposure using indexing or hedging rather than hoping.
  • •Bonus: experience with AISC-certified fabrication networks, modular construction, weld quality programs, and logistics for oversize loads.
