Key Responsibilities

  • •Author and socialize product/platform architecture strategy, maintaining ADRs and tech radars.
  • •Lead scalable designs for multi-tenant isolation, data models/schemas, indexing/OLAP, and event-driven systems.
  • •Drive platform evolution across multi-cloud deployment patterns, service mesh standards, API gateways, and policy-as-code.
  • •Embed operational excellence through SRE practices (SLOs, error budgets, incident learning), capacity planning, and chaos testing.
  • •Partner on security & privacy by leading threat models, encryption/key management, and AI architecture guardrails (evals, telemetry, fallbacks).

Key Requirements

  • •20+ years in product/platform architecture for large-scale, cloud-native SaaS, with recent Principal/Distinguished scope leading end-to-end product decisions and migrations across multi-cloud.
  • •Deep expertise in cloud and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE), service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), and observability (Prometheus/Grafana), with ability to define golden paths/paved roads.
  • •Proven data platform and streaming leadership using Kafka/Flink/Spark and OLAP/NoSQL/search systems (e.g., Druid, ClickHouse, Cassandra, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch).
  • •Experience designing microservices and enterprise integration at scale (API gateways, event-driven design; SOA/EAI tools like Apache Camel/Mule/WSO2/JBoss Fuse).
  • •Production experience with AI/ML and agentic AI patterns, including RAG/agents, LLM/agent frameworks (OpenAI APIs, LLaMA, LangChain/LangGraph) and evaluation/telemetry/guardrails.
