Job Summary

Lead structural design and analysis for water, wastewater, and solid waste facilities across Canada from the Thornhill office. You will manage complex projects, mentor engineers, translate analyses into BIM-ready markups, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, contribute to specifications and cost estimates, support management and business development, and perform site visits and construction-phase engineering to ensure safe, sustainable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead structural engineering analysis and design for water and wastewater facilities, pumping stations, reservoirs, underground liquid-retaining structures, solid waste transfer stations, and landfills.
•Deliver complete structural designs for single buildings or multi-facility sites using industry-standard software and engineering judgment.
•Translate analytical results into clear markups and technical direction for BIM modellers and drafters.
•Support project delivery through specifications development, cost estimates, and interdisciplinary coordination.
•Mentor and guide early-career engineers, supporting technical excellence and professional growth.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
•P.Eng. designation with PEO (or eligibility with EGBC or APEGA)
•10+ years of structural design experience in water, wastewater, or solid waste facilities
•Proficiency with STAAD.Pro, S-Frame, and CSI products; working knowledge of BIM360 and Revit
•Ability to lead structural design tasks, manage budgets and schedules, and meet client-driven deadlines
