Job Summary

Vendor / Category Manager for Deliveroo Hop UAE leads category strategy, sourcing, pricing, and vendor negotiations for a Dubai-based team. •Category Management: support vendor management in selecting product ranges, set pricing, nominate SKUs for promotions, and monitor performance to drive growth.
•Vendor Management: develop relationships with local/international grocery suppliers, negotiate contracts, analyze performance, and ensure regulatory compliance.
•Operations & Inventory: work with in-stock teams to source new products and maintain inventory levels; resolve vendor-related issues including invoices and payments.
•Market & Optimization: monitor market trends, identify new opportunities, and drive media spend with vendors to enhance visibility.
•Cross-functional collaboration: communicate with internal teams to align on category strategy, promotions, and market dynamics.

Key Requirements

•3+ years experience in vendor/category management or buying function (grocery experience would be a benefit but not requirement).

•Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and resolve vendor-related issues.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and adapt to changing market dynamics.
