Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement orchestration features and performance improvements across metadata services (discovery API, catalog, lineage, run history).
  • •Develop, maintain, and test high-quality backend code, optimizing critical performance paths.
  • •Write and review technical designs and pull requests, explaining design trade-offs clearly.
  • •Improve test coverage with unit tests and refactor to reduce tech debt.
  • •Participate in on-call rotation, troubleshoot/debug production issues, and follow up with post-mortems and mitigation plans.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in software engineering, designing and building backend services and reusable components.

  • •Experience with code reviews, troubleshooting, and testing, with the ability to identify design flaws and propose improvements.
