Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee product development across categories while ensuring compliance with restricted ingredients, allergens, nutritional information, and relevant legislation.
  • •Complete product builds: ingredient validations, portioning tests, shelf-life tests, and interim/final NPD Ops validations with an NPD Ops consultant.
  • •Create indicative BOMs once ingredients and quantities are finalized; request supplier samples and product specifications.
  • •Document and update CSL and other procedures for new and existing products, and liaise to sign off BOH procedures with the Ops team.
  • •Support launch readiness by coordinating tastings, consumer research, product presentations/menu shoots, and signing off production lines, new product, and packaging specifications.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field (contractors may be considered with strong product development and QSR experience).
  • •8-10 years of experience in the food industry, preferably FMCG, Retail, or QSR, with hands-on product development and innovation.
  • •Strong knowledge of food science, processing, food production, and food safety applied in practical, commercially viable solutions.
  • •Proven experience contributing to or leading cross-functional product development projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to thrive under pressure while meeting deadlines.
