Key Responsibilities

  • •Handle all assigned claims promptly and effectively within delegated authority and company policies.
  • •Determine proper policy coverages and apply appropriate claims practices to resolve cases in line with guidelines.
  • •Open, close, and adjust reserves to ensure reserve adequacy and follow file notification/authority procedures.
  • •Maintain current knowledge of insurance guidance, court decisions, local repair procedures, and market pricing, including attending training as needed.
  • •Partner with Special Investigations Unit and Subrogation to identify fraud/subrogation and prepare files for legal action as required.
