Job Summary

Support production by inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical plant equipment. Install and perform preventative maintenance, diagnose machine malfunctions using manuals and diagrams, and carry out upgrades involving 3-phase motor control systems and AC/DC circuits. You’ll work from blueprints, understand fluid power systems (valves, cylinders, motors, pumps), and perform basic cutting and welding. This is a rotating 2-2-3 night shift role.

Key Responsibilities

•Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, replace, install, adjust, and maintain mechanical equipment in the plant.
•Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and troubleshoot machine malfunctions to determine problems and implement repairs.
•Plan, layout, and carry out installation, maintenance, and repair operations for plant equipment and accessories.
•Safely install, maintain, and upgrade 3-phase motor control systems, AC/DC circuits, and understand basic relay logic.
•Understand and troubleshoot fluid power systems and perform basic fabrication by cutting and welding as needed.

Key Requirements

•At least two (2) years of trade school or equivalent experience in industrial mechanical or electrical.
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings and make necessary modifications.
•Mechanical aptitude in complex mechanical assemblies, including precision measurements.
•Knowledge of conventional welding and industrial equipment operations.
•Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving with strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
