Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with design teams to provide design-for-manufacturability feedback and generate quality-relevant product data for suppliers.
  • •Lead supplier quality development across product development stages, including design reviews, supplier process development, testing, and qualification for components and sub-assemblies.
  • •Develop and manage supplier quality readiness by analyzing key/critical characteristics, defining measurement systems, and executing qualification activities (e.g., PPAP/FAIR/Audits/inspection development).
  • •Own supplier risk elimination across the product lifecycle using audits, readiness reviews, and training/documentation to ensure compliance with flow-down requirements.
  • •Support RCCA and MRB activities, own containments, and drive supplier corrective action/SCAR while auditing supplier quality management systems and preparing/leading onsite audits.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy, or similar technical field.
  • •Experience producing precision mechanical parts for aerospace or defense.
  • •Experience scaling supplier capabilities from prototype/proof of concept through low-rate to high-rate production, including source inspection experience.
  • •Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 quality management system requirements, including AS9100 lead/internal auditor certification as a plus.
  • •Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance and travel up to 50% to suppliers and manufacturing locations.
