Job Function: Energy & Utilities Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to all stages of the project design lifecycle from feasibility to detailed design.
  • •Support for multiple engineering domains across energy projects (wind, solar, hydro, storage, grid) depending on project needs.
  • •Participate in grid connection works including cable routing and substation Civil works.
  • •Assist with site construction supervision and on-site technical oversight.
  • •Engage with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative renewable energy solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering or relevant science or master’s degree.
  • •Experience in a position where design was a major part of the role.
  • •Experience in the full cycle of project design delivery from inception to detailed design.
  • •Chartered or working towards chartership.
  • •Beneficial experience in: medium/high voltage grid connection works (cable routing/National Grid), hydroelectric design (run-of-river/pumped storage), onshore wind (onsite), offshore wind.
