Job Summary

Partner with technology, product, strategy, and line-of-business teams to define and demonstrate the future of Fifth Third Bank’s products and enterprise architecture. Evaluate and apply emerging technologies to accelerate product innovation, translating customer and market signals into prototypes, data workflows, and decision-support dashboards. Lead or contribute to research on fintech, AI, and web3, and provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop a strong understanding of current and future-state technology and product architecture, shaping evolution toward a product-led enterprise.
•Identify and prioritize opportunities to expand enterprise technology capabilities supporting customer and product innovation.
•Lead end-to-end data workflows (ETL from structured/unstructured sources), perform analysis, and build dashboards/visualizations (e.g., Power BI) for decision-making.
•Evaluate and benchmark fintechs and emerging startups by analyzing technology architecture, product capabilities, business models, and viability, then synthesize recommendations.
•Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship; translate customer needs and industry shifts into prototypes, demonstrations, and capability visions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 82,100 - 172,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (or equivalent education and relevant experience).
•5+ years of experience aligned to the role’s responsibilities.
•Strong front-end development experience with modern web standards and frameworks (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, Vue, etc.).
•Strong back-end development experience with APIs and event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka), including SQL, databases, and modern data platforms like Snowflake.
•Deep experience with at least one server-side language (Python, Java, Node.js, or PHP) plus cloud/infrastructure (e.g., AWS or Azure) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated testing).
