Job Summary

Lead sustainability delivery on construction programs, acting as the client’s single point of contact for environmental protection and KPI compliance. Define and govern SDP, coordinate with design and project teams on energy, embodied carbon, water, waste and LEED/BREEAM targets, and drive stage reviews and data analytics for sustainability performance.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the single client point of contact for sustainability and environmental protection, ensuring project KPIs and targets are defined, delivered, and compliant with client standards.
•Engage client stakeholders to define sustainability goals; act as the primary client contact for all sustainability matters.
•Support the Project Manager in developing the Sustainability Delivery Plan (SDP) and provide guidance on sustainability processes and governance to project teams.
•Attend project meetings and review Contractor responses to ensure client sustainability requirements are correctly included.
•Cover all sustainability aspects: facility/process design, operational & embodied carbon, water, waste, and energy.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
•10+ years in sustainability/environmental protection within construction or engineering projects.
•Deep understanding of client sustainability goals (Ambition Zero Carbon), internal standards/tools, and external best practices (BREEAM, LEED).
•Proven experience with LEED/BREEAM and carbon/energy/water/waste tracking.
•Familiarity with operational/embodied carbon analysis, energy modeling, and Sustainability Delivery Plans (SDP).
