Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and deploy software solutions that enhance design tool capabilities, streamlining debugging and improving design productivity.
  • •Contribute to an AI-based development environment by helping migrate, modernize, and standardize workflows.
  • •Partner with compute and infrastructure teams to maintain a scalable, reliable design environment, including an internal cloud supporting current and AI-augmented workflows.
  • •Work at the intersection of software engineering and CPU design to help integrate AI solutions where appropriate to improve productivity and speed deliverables.
  • •Maintain correctness, security, and maintainability for everything you ship, holding AI-generated code to the same standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree in a related field.
  • •6+ months of educational experience in at least two of: data structures and algorithms; programming/scripting (e.g., C/C++, Perl/Tcl, Python, shell scripting); Linux/Unix systems.
  • •Experience with AI software development tools such as Claude Code/Cursor, Copilot, or similar.
  • •Prior experience related to design automation tools.
  • •Ability to develop software with a quality mindset, maintaining correctness, security, and maintainability.
  • •6+ months of educational experience in at least two of: data structures and algorithms; programming/scripting (e.g., C/C++, Perl/Tcl, Python, shell scripting); Linux/Unix systems.
