Key Responsibilities

  • •Own annual/quarterly compensation cycles (merit, bonus, equity) with clear calendars, checklists, and go/no-go gates to keep stakeholders aligned.
  • •Maintain job architecture, leveling, and market ranges using survey data; recommend targeted adjustments to stay competitive and equitable.
  • •Build models and dashboards connecting pay outcomes to budget, performance, and attrition, improving systems and workflows with People Ops and Finance.
  • •Create crisp analyses and narratives for executives and the Board by translating scenarios, tradeoffs, and risk into actionable decisions.
  • •Establish controls, audits, and documentation for data accuracy and policy alignment, and create manager toolkits, FAQs, and training to drive consistent adoption.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years driving core compensation programs and advising leaders, with deep knowledge of market pricing, equity, and variable pay design.
  • •Advanced modeling and scenario analysis skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and recommend clear, defensible actions.
  • •Credibility with senior leaders to challenge constructively, influence decisions, and communicate the impact with clarity.
  • •Proven track record running multi-step programs with precision, including sequencing and risk/quality controls.
  • •Comfort improving compensation workflows and tools, using data to spot trends, anticipate issues, and raise program quality.
