Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on plant and equipment, including automated conveying systems, thermoforming equipment, refrigeration (CO2), and dock equipment.
  • •Identify and rectify defects found during PPM, recording actions taken in maintenance manuals and the CMMS.
  • •Provide reactive support such as breakdown response and ensure timely completion of work to required standards.
  • •Supervise contractors to ensure work is completed to specification and report any issues to the maintenance manager.
  • •Work with the maintenance shift manager to manage task volumes, update task status, and flag issues with plant efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to fix, maintain, and improve on-site equipment while following Health and Safety rules at all times.
  • •Experience in maintenance or engineering is preferred, including electrical and mechanical maintenance.
  • •Knowledge of automated systems and PLC controls.
  • •Basic computer skills with experience in CMMS or similar systems.
  • •Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as required.
