•Participate in daily planning meetings; coordinate with departments to meet editorial goals.
•Dispatch crews and information; coordinate reporters, field crews, and assignment desk staff to cover stories.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 80,000 - 100,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or Communications.
•4+ years’ experience in a broadcast news environment, coordinating assignments and generating story ideas.
•Two years’ experience as an Assignment Editor.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
