Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a technical Program Engineer according to plant procedures and policies.
  • •Perform safety evaluation screening and disposition nonconformance reports and RFRs, including engineering evaluations and minor modifications for assigned equipment/system areas.
  • •Conduct causal analysis for deficiencies and failures and determine corrective actions to resolve issues.
  • •Proactively monitor and trend program performance, assess status, and report to plant management; support work planning and life-cycle management.
  • •Perform engineering evaluations and reviews of applicable NRC and INPO documents and operating experience; interface with other departments and support configuration/design basis changes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution is required.
  • •Engineer-in-Training or Professional Engineer registration is preferred.
  • •Previous nuclear utility experience is preferred.
  • •Demonstrate leadership, decision making, communication, and human relations skills.
  • •Ability to apply knowledge of programs, codes, standards, and operating experience to plant systems and equipment.
