Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage complex enterprise solution sales from prospecting through close across a 6 to 18 month purchasing cycle.
  • •Lead RFP participation and own the subsequent relationship handoff with a Customer Success Manager at the conclusion of the sale.
  • •Prospect consistently, listen for customer needs and goals, and target/close green-field accounts.
  • •Create and execute a territory market development plan and understand partner relationships (including systems integrators and small businesses).
  • •Lead sales process activities including channel engagement and contract negotiations; attend sales meetings, seminars, and trade shows.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 5 years of experience in direct, complex solution software sales, preferably in state and local government markets.
  • •Proven ability to prospect and build a greenfield pipeline, move opportunities through the sales cycle, and present solutions to decision-makers.
  • •Experience leveraging channel and other partners to meet prospect functionality and/or procurement requirements.
  • •Ability to craft solutions using the appropriate products and services to meet client business goals.
  • •Fluency in written and spoken English.
