Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a technical expert for commercial customers through continuous learning and completing meaningful assignments in commercial HVAC and energy optimization.
  • •Build and strengthen customer relationships by identifying and understanding needs throughout the full sales cycle.
  • •Sell HVAC equipment, building management controls, parts, and services to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
  • •Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners/developers to support design, application, and sale of solutions.
  • •Create and execute a sales plan for the territory, developing strategic opportunities and analysis to meet or exceed sales targets.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (open to all engineering areas of emphasis), completed prior to the Graduate Training Program start date.
  • •Passion for continuous learning in technical fields to understand and communicate engineering solutions.
  • •Prior internship experience at Trane Technologies or ability to start in-office work 3 months prior to the GTP start date.
  • •U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with proof of insurance and no major or frequent traffic violations (including specific serious offenses within the last 3 years).
