Key Responsibilities

  • •Work on alternative delivery transportation projects and mega-projects requiring Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) deliverables.
  • •Develop MOT design packages for highway improvement projects, including Cross Sections and Typical Cross Sections.
  • •Create Traffic Control Plans, profiles, and detour route design elements for MOT scope.
  • •Prepare temporary signing and pavement markings documentation and related MOT design outputs.
  • •Support project delivery as MOT engineers/task leads across junior, mid, and senior levels or as MOT CAD designers.

Key Requirements

  • •For MOT CAD Designers: BS degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
  • •For Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering plus 2 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •For Mid-Level Engineers: BS in Engineering plus 6 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •For Senior Level Engineers/Task Leads: BS in Engineering plus 10 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Preferred: EIT certification or PE license, and/or a master’s degree in engineering.
