Job Summary

Operate within the finishing center to sort, label, and package finished goods to customer specifications while inspecting product appearance and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Support production by preparing cores, tracking multiple orders, performing 5S duties and audits, and assisting with equipment maintenance. You may rotate between tasks and participate in continuous improvement and group problem-solving to improve quality and productivity. 2nd shift runs M-F 3:20pm–11:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

•Sort, label, and package finished goods for shipment per customer specifications, quality requirements, and standard practices.
•Inspect general appearance of finished product and keep the area supplied with necessary packaging materials.
•Prepare cores for machine operators and communicate/coordinate information with appropriate shift/department personnel.
•Track multiple orders being packed at one time and continuously improve quality and productivity.
•Perform 5S duties and audits, maintain a clean/safe work area, and assist with equipment maintenance as directed.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience.
•Ability to follow written and oral instructions and regard safety as a core value.

•Ability to actively contribute in a team-based environment, cross-train, and sustain skills.
•Proficiency with computer applications, especially MFG Pro, and ability to obtain Lift Truck Operator’s license.
