Own HVAC design philosophies, Basis of Design, and load calculations; specify ventilation, air conditioning, pressurization, and smoke control. Prepare procurement deliverables (specs, datasheets, bid evaluation inputs) and review layouts, ductwork, vendor drawings, and calculations while ensuring code, safety, and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead HVAC system engineering, design, specification, review, and technical management for industrial facilities and EPC project delivery.
•Develop HVAC design philosophies, Basis of Design (BoD), design criteria, and perform HVAC load calculations using recognized methodologies and software.
•Design and specify ventilation, air conditioning, pressurization, smoke control, and related HVAC systems in line with project requirements, standards, and local regulations.
•Prepare HVAC equipment specifications, datasheets, technical requisitions, material take-offs, and bid evaluation criteria for procurement activities.
•Review and approve HVAC system layouts, ductwork arrangements, equipment selections, engineering calculations, vendor drawings, technical submissions, and manufacturing documentation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related) with a valid Engineering License.
•Minimum 5 years of HVAC engineering experience for industrial projects, preferably in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, refinery, LNG, power generation, chemical, or process plants.
•Proven experience across EPC, FEED, detailed engineering, procurement support, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.
•Strong knowledge of industrial HVAC systems (ventilation, air conditioning, pressurization, smoke control, hazardous area applications).
•Familiarity with international codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, SMACNA, AMCA, NFPA, API, ISO) and HVAC engineering software/tools (e.g., HAP, Carrier E20-II).
