Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead design and implementation of core Libraries Platform components, including services, pipelines, and the package index for secure, reproducible build/test/distribution across ecosystems.
  • •Design and maintain automation for artifact creation, updates, and verification, including vulnerability scanning, remediation workflows, SBOM/provenance generation, and policy enforcement.
  • •Build and operate shared platform services (package indexes, registry mirrors, metadata services, and orchestration tooling) for external customers and internal ecosystem teams.
  • •Develop internal developer tools and CLIs (often in Go) and integrate with build systems and CI/CD to improve how libraries are built and shipped.
  • •Drive reliability, scalability, and observability via SLOs, monitoring/alerting, incident response, and post-incident improvements; troubleshoot production build and dependency issues.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years designing, building, and operating infrastructure for language ecosystems or developer platforms, including build systems, package registries, or CI/CD.
  • •Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) or readiness to ramp quickly.
  • •Proven track record building and owning developer tooling and automation (plugins, CLIs, code generators, or custom pipelines) at scale.
  • •Strong background in CI/CD, cloud-native infrastructure, and IaC, including Docker/OCI, Kubernetes, public cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure), and tools such as Terraform and GitHub Actions/Argo/Tekton.
  • •Ability to debug complex toolchain/compiler/packaging and infrastructure failures in production and drive issues to root cause.
