Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and support carbon management inputs for highways and multidisciplinary infrastructure projects across all stages of design.
  • •Embed PAS 2080 principles as Carbon Lead and coordinate low-carbon solutions with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • •Challenge designs to identify carbon reduction and climate resilience opportunities.
  • •Develop and apply carbon assessment methodologies, governance, and tools; report achieved carbon reductions.
  • •Advise clients on low-carbon innovation and climate-resilient opportunities and contribute Net Zero inputs to strategic pursuits and proposals.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years post-graduate experience in a bachelor’s or post-graduate degree in Civil Engineering / Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
  • •Experience in carbon assessments and management of transport infrastructure, including familiarity with PAS 2080.
  • •Multi-discipline experience in infrastructure projects across the design life cycle, including construction.
  • •Technical leadership experience on projects with an associated client-facing role.
  • •Working knowledge of Net Zero principles in a transport context and confidence in complex cross-discipline project teams.
