Senior Software Engineer, Backend Infrastructure

Build and maintain resilient backend services that power core Thumbtack capabilities such as identity, media, and delivery/communication. Develop reusable libraries and frameworks for logging, monitoring, storage access, and service-to-service communication, and partner with product and platform teams to design reliable APIs and distributed systems patterns. Tackle scaling and reliability through capacity planning and proactive engineering, and support production with on-call participation to meet SLAs.
