Job Summary

Commission, diagnose, and repair temperature control systems for assigned projects by applying knowledge of airflow, refrigeration, hydronics, and digital controls. Use hand tools and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications to troubleshoot issues, perform preventive maintenance, and complete site assessments, replacements, and modifications. Serve as a direct customer point of contact, provide technical support and training, coordinate work at job sites, and maintain detailed project documentation.

•Commission, diagnose, and repair temperature control systems for assigned projects.
•Service equipment by interpreting drawings, plans, and specifications and using hand tools to complete repairs.
•Perform preventive maintenance, site assessments, replacements, and modifications based on customer needs.
•Coordinate job-site work by reviewing building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and tracking vehicle upkeep and related documentation.
•Serve as the customer point of contact, provide technical support and training, support sales leads to project managers, and maintain timesheets, progress reports, job duration records, and cost tracking.

Salary: 50.79 hourly

Key Requirements

•Technical or vocational diploma with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning.
•5 years of experience in a similar position (or 7 years, or an equivalent combination of work experience and education).
•Knowledge to commission, diagnose, and repair temperature control systems.
•Driver’s licence.
•Halocarbon certification (MMF Class 4a preferred) and strong communication skills, mathematical aptitude, and reasoning ability.
