Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and maintain PMO-wide standards for cost and schedule baselining, including a common WBS and cost taxonomy across manufacturing sectors.
  • •Define and audit cross-sector baseline change control standards, including triggers, approvals, and compliance.
  • •Validate estimate-to-baseline handoffs (scope, quoted hours, materials, margin assumptions) before program start to protect margin.
  • •Build and maintain budget reporting tools (cost-to-complete and estimate-at-completion), partner with PMs to keep numbers trustworthy, and roll up portfolio forecasts.
  • •Own monthly program economics review execution: set calendar and pre-read, run the meeting, validate models, challenge assumptions, drive variance/recovery tracking, and review closure actions.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in project controls, cost engineering, or manufacturing finance, ideally in an ETO/make-to-order environment.
  • •Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related quantitative field.
  • •Ownership experience for cost baselines, earned value (or equivalent progress measurement), and estimate-at-completion forecasting.
  • •Advanced modeling capability in Google Sheets, including dynamic cost structures, sensitivity analysis, and large-scale reconciliation.
  • •Hands-on ERP experience for job costing and BOM-level cost roll-ups, plus scheduling literacy with Smartsheet, MS Project, Monday.com, or Primavera P6.
