Job Summary

Lead, plan, and monitor engineering and maintenance teams responsible for the PSD system for Dubai Metro. Assist the System Engineering Manager with resource planning and oversee preventive/corrective maintenance, renewals, and minor system modifications. Provide guidance and system assurance to the Engineering & Maintenance department and wider O&M organization, including 24-hour on-call incident and emergency response. Own KPI delivery, maintenance quality, schedule, and budget performance.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist the System Engineering Manager with planning, management, and allocation of resources for PSD maintenance activities.
•Supervise engineering and maintenance activities for the PSD system and related infrastructure, including preventive/corrective maintenance, renewal, and minor modifications.
•Provide support, guidance, and system assurance for PSD engineering and maintenance work within the Engineering & Maintenance Department and the wider O&M organization.
•Carry out 24-hour on-call responsibility for incidents and emergencies within the section.
•Meet PSD KPIs and manage maintenance to deliver required outputs on time and within the agreed maintenance budget.

Key Requirements

•At least 7 years of experience in the PSD field, including project execution (design, installation, testing, commissioning) or maintenance.
•Experience in team management is required.
•Ideally a degree or high diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering discipline (or equivalent).
•Thorough understanding of safety issues related to railway operations.
•Ability to think laterally, analyze, and assess information to determine proper courses of action without jeopardizing safety, quality, or performance targets.
